Works like a check without all of that writing.  Just scan your card at any point of sale terminal and pay for your purchase - it's quick and easy.  Your card is good with any merchant that accepts MasterCard credit cards and you can also use it for cash advances at an Automated Teller Machine.  There is a small annual fee and some limitations you should know about.
